The SSQ Star Race is an untimed “Fun Run”, which runs on an 2K loop.
Runners and walkers can run or walk this loop one, two, three or four times as they wish, all within a time limit of 1 hour 15 minutes.
Prior to departure, participants will receive a sports cap equipped with lights that turn into thousands of tiny stars on the course.
The SSQ Star Race is certainly the opportunity to do your last training in an festive atmosphere where entertainment and surprises will be waiting for you.
This year, the fireworks are back!
This activity starts at 8 pm. The limit of participants is 1 000.
Packets are given out at the Sports and Fitness Expo, which is held at the Convention Center in Quebec City.
You MUST get you bib there before going to the start of the race.
The start and finish site is located in the park in front or the Parliament Building, next to the famous Fontaine de Tourny.
The course is a loop of about 2K, around the Quebec City’s Parliament Building.

Participants can do as many loop as they want within 1 h 15 minutes.
At the starting line, all participants will receive a led cap, with a reflexive band in the back.
Each participant crossing the finish line, individually or with a team, will receive the SSQ Star Race Medal.
For the race, between 8 pm and 9:15 pm, a musical show will be given by a well-known musical group.
It will be possible to leave a bag near the start line.
