Categories

Categories are based on the runner’s age as of December 31, 2015. A runner must be at least 18 years old on Marathon day to participate in the main event (42.2K).

The Kids Run Event (5K) is limited to ages 5 to 14 years old.

First position of each age category

The first of each age group wins a free registration for the 2016 SSQ Quebec City Marathon, except for the children categories.

This free registration may not be transferred to another person, to another event or to another year.

T-Shirt, Medals & Certificates

T-Shirt

A technical T-Shirt will be given to all participants, except those of the SSQ Star Race, which will receive a Led Cap.

All participants will receive a medal for completing the race in which they registered for.

The certificates will available for free from the Marathon Photos website.

Timing


The MyLap Bibtag system from Sportstats will be used. With this system, there is no need to attach the timing device to a shoe.

The timing tag is in the back of the bib.

Vehicles Traffic

This weekend, during the events, streets taken by participants will be closed to traffic.

Boston Qualifier

The times obtained in the SSQ Quebec City Marathon are accepted as qualifying times for the Boston Marathon.
