Leucan, a family history since 1978

Leucan is an association whose mission is to help cancer-stricken children and their families believe in a brighter future. An industry leader active in every region of the province, Leucan is the main source of reference and help for families of children with cancer, partners, and donors.
Leucan looks after its families at each phase of the illness by providing specific and adapted services. Leucan is present in all walks of family life whether it be at the hospital, at home, at school, in social life or in the public eye, by means of financial assistance, welcome, emotional assistance and support services, information, hosting and support in playrooms, massage therapy at the hospital and in the region, socio-recreational activities, support groups, school life and end-of-life and bereavement follow-up services. By supporting clinical research, Leucan contributes to improving the treatments offered to children with cancer.

This year, Leucan is beneficiary of the 5 km Health walk organised during the Marathon des Deux Rives SSQ.

There is also another challenge you might want to take on: The Leucan Shaved  Head Challenge. This major fundraising event is also a gesture of solidarity towards children with cancer. By taking part in this Challenge you help play down hair loss due to chemotherapy treatments. The objective? To become the marathon with the most shaved heads in Canada! Are you up to it?
